Yeah they look really nice, only slight criticisms are a few gaps and mouldlines kicking about (really not a big deal) and I prefer gun barrels to be drilled out as I personally like the more realistic look it gives although again not a big deal ;). Otherwise v nice!

Too everyone so far, thank you very much for you're comments....

@stargazer: I totally agree with you on what you are saying...but when I put these together i was still learning (as I am now still) about how to assemble for easier painting etc.....gun barrels are NOW not an issue so my next tac squad (6th squad) all have their barrels drilled and will be at a better painting standard....

C&C keep coming with them people....I'll post up my v.dread that I've nearly finished (after 5months non completed) loool

Wow, seeing a LOT more Imperial Fists these days. Nice job on a difficult paint scheme. I notice your yellow is a bit more muted than most Imperial Fists paint jobs but it works with the extra level of detailing and I applaud your use of Black Templars bits, very characterful. The attention to detail is excellent as is the shading, well done!

Thank you ALL for your great kind words, and for everyone talking about the templar bits, i read ages ago that the IFs during the great crusade had templar inograhy, plus cpt sig was the founder of the templars and the 2nd in command for Rogal Dorn so i felt it right that the vets bear the templar inography.....but only vets that have been surrounded and come out using their own blade/bear hands.......makes the honour more worth the the right to bear it.

@captain elarix: thank you sir, the commander is obv pedro kantor model.

@robson11: The green glowing eyes effect was achieved like this

Basecoat orkhide shade into the eye lenses (make sure the basecoat is around 3 layers, thin layers i add)

then mix a ratio of 2:1 of Orkhide shade and goblin green

then a 1:1 mix

then add a tiny amount of skull of white

then make a mix of 2:1:1 of, goblin green, skull white and scorpian green....apply this very thinly around the eye rim

then a mix of 1:1 scorpian green and skull white and very very very thinly apply that to the eye rim too.

hope this helps.

I am intrigued by your yellow... Illuminate me as to how you do it.

Yes... I see it now... A Chaos Terminator Lord with Yellow Armour... Dry-brushed Dark Angels green... MUAHHAHAHAH!!!

:tu:

EDIT: Considering, Rotting flesh might actually go better...

Loving the look of those Fists. It's nice to see a different company colour as well. I must admit, that I never thought the green trim would go well with Yellow, but, it actually looks really good! You actually make me want to give up on mine before I've even started! *laughs* Again, great job on those!

I too would like your recipe if you wouldn't mind PMing me. As well as where do you get a plastic Mk. IV helm?

Those are some nice fists, how did you do the yellow? White primer then Iyanden?

Thank you man, and no they're undercoated chaos black and then basecoated L.darksun or tau sept, depending on how I want them to look, and tbh I'm still experimenting with my desired 'yellow' for my 4th.....but I think I may of found the right method and right paints to harmoniously blend, mix and layer together.

This tac squad and assault squad were my first attempt at getting a base idea on the yellow I wanted as I don't like the bright yellow that fists are as standard, but I've decided that in the later stages of armour colour build up (on Sgts, vets, captains/masters) they'll have a touch of golden yellow to give them that 'little' boost of colour amongst the rest.
