rusty1109
Hi all, This is probably an easy one to answer but i've been pondering it and would like a good argument to give an opponent if it comes up in a game. As we all know conversion beamers have 3 'tiers' of strength depending on range. What happens if the shot scatters 6" directly back towards the firer and in doing so crosses from one of these tiers into another one? Is the strength what it would have been before scatter, or after? I think it should change depending on where the template ends up, but i can see an argument for RAW saying that you measure range when you declare to shoot and that should in theory be the only time when range from firer is measured. What do we all think? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219878-conversion-beamer-query/ Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Its distance between the firing model and the one its actually affecting- roll using the new distance.
