Fred Johnson the 3rd jr
I've seen the tutorial here about magnetizing arms, but I am interested in magnetizing the weapons themselves (so the weapon would have a magnet and the top of a marine's fist would have a magnet drilled into it). Basically like this link: http://thereisonlywar.blogspot.com/2010/12...ne-weapons.html Up there, the marine is holding the bolter with two hands in a classic pose. My question is about holding the gun one handed. Would a 1/16 inch magnet be enough to keep the gun in place if the marine is wielding it one handed? Baal Dropout
Those magnets are the exact same size magnets I use for my special weapons: plas/melta/flam ;) To be more accurate, I use N40 grade 1/16" x 1/32"; enough strength to hold the bits one-handed (I would like to point out that the magnets are flush/touching with each other, the magnetic force between tend to get weak faster per distance with regards to the magnet this small) Also, 1/16" leaves enough space around the hole/magnet, specially on the weapon Hth :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219890-magnetizing-power-armored-marine-weapons/#findComment-2623843 Share on other sites
