Command Squad

So I got the SM command squad for christmas :)

and then had great fun kitbashing my BT upgrade sprue with the command box

but then realised that they would look awful as RG - original plan but got distracted by cool options

 

so to cut a medium story short I dissembled most of them - arms and accessories were held in place with blue tack and or GS

and primed them black and added a base layer of Red Gore then read about Machite red and bought that - haven't applied it yet and unsure of results but GCSE exams coming up o :/ 40k took to the backburner.

 

Now I am unsure were to go from here - black tabards highlighted grey or white with cream etc ... I have gold helmets which need another coat but are ok.

but GW removed the BA option for the command squad on their site :@ so ... looking for ideas and inspiration, also going for the watermark red that features n the armour of Swallows omnibus, hate the fluff [stupid Stele] but cool style and kickass action ... mostly.
