BLACK BLΠFLY

Recommended Posts

your background colour and font colour hurt my eyes!!!!

Seconded. :teehee:

I've spent quite some time reading your blog in the last few months, sometimes coming back to read up on things again but after reading, all I see when leaving your blog is tinted cyan! The content is great and very educational for casuals like me but the choice of colour makes it harder to read.

Anyway, no real criticism, just thought I'd mention it after The Mouth brought it up. Keep up the great work BO!

Great blog Black Orange. Since this is a thread regarding tactica, I'd like to mention a relief to a previous worry I had.

The SR doesn't have to be on the flying stand, meaning that we can fly it low and still use cover to get close to the enemy. In my books that's a 50% chance survival rate that I didn't think we'd have if it was on a stand like the IG flyer.

With bastions and other tall pieces of terrain you can sometimes find a piece of terrain to hide the Stormraven. That is certainly not always the case but it helps when you can. As I've said I always start my Stormraven in reserve. Typically I've found it usually shows up around turn 3 or 4. Use your other units to neutralize threats to the Stormraven prior to it's entry. This has worked very well for me for so far. With the imminent release of the official model I think the Stormraven will become much more popular. Maybe with the release of the next White Dwarf all chapters will have access to the Stormraven. I have no problem with that - the landraider Crusader was originally released in Codex Armegeddon for Black Templars then started to show up elsewhere so I'm sure eventually all chapters will eventually have access. I think it can be a great addition to any Imperial Space Marine army and look forward to seeing more of them.
