CoyoteGospel
Wow - at $13.25 ea. this makes the Ravenwing Battleforce an even better deal since you get 3 of these in addition to the bikes/speeder! breng77
Yeah unless you already own bikes, or just want the bits for your other vehicles there is no reason to every buy this. RW battle force = $90 6 Bikes = $90 Attack bike = $25 Speeder = $30 3 Sprues = $39.75 Total value = $184.75 Now while you don't get special weapons sprues with your bikes, you are paying less than half of the price of the contents bought separately. Even if you want to buy special weapons separately (5 meltas is $8) you still pay way less than the separate components. I think it might be the best value of any battle force BA= $133 of stuff for $100 SM=$145 for $90 CSM=$144.52 for $90 Eldar=$124 for $90 Guard = $109.75 for $95 Necrons=$184.55 for $90 Tyranids=$131 for $105 Orks = $123.75 for $90 Wolves = $130 for $90 Tau=$149.50 for $90 Yup DA have the best value at present guard is by far the worst value at only about 13% off the value of what is in the box. Dark Dajin
downside is that the DA upgrade was raised in price. €10,50 for 1 sprue instead of €17,50 for 2 sprues Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219976-separate-ravenwing-sprue/#findComment-2625079 Share on other sites
breng77
Yeah that is slightly annoying, especially if you want all of your marines to wear robes. LardO'Blood
Yayz! I don't have to buy a $40 kit to get Belial shoulder pads! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219976-separate-ravenwing-sprue/#findComment-2625458 Share on other sites
Brother Are
Regardless of the price I think it is good that you can buy it separatly. And perhaps business management also realized how good a deal the RW box is and is releasing the sprue instead of producing more bargain boxes... breng77
I'll feel very sad if that happens (glad that I have bought 4 of them so far, but sad that other players would not get the same.). Honestly I'd rather they just raise the price so that it is still a good deal, but not quite so good. Isiah
Regardless of the price I think it is good that you can buy it separatly. You always could -- via ebay :teehee: . Someone somewhere would be selling one. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219976-separate-ravenwing-sprue/#findComment-2626462 Share on other sites

Someone somewhere would be selling one. Yeah, I know, but I prefer to order as much as I can at my LGS, just to support the business. If he closes down I will have at least 2.5 h drive to the nearest store with a gaming area... I don't really see how this sprue can replace the battle force, and the battle force isn't gone yet anyway. I think the battle force will stick around at least until the next Dark Angels update, and if it leaves it will be replaced.
