Fred Johnson the 3rd jr
Most other (or is it no other) codices can have mixed terminator and power armor units. I feel like this is something we should take advantage of. Whereas others have to drop pod 5 terminators, we can drop 2 and 6 power armored guys, or 1 and 8. Same with footslogging. We don't need to make every guy a terminator. This gives us flexibility. Anyone run mixed Wolf Guard lists? What do you do, and how does it work out for you? Growler67
I imagine squad coherancy would be the drawback. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220024-mixed-wolf-guard-units/#findComment-2625457 Share on other sites

I'll take 10 man walking Wolf Guard with 2 of them having terminator armor and cyclone missile launchers. Sometimes I'll take WG in a drop pod with 2-3 Wolf Guard with combi-plasmas and the rest in Power Armor. Any combination really. Logan + 6 Long Fangs and an attached WG with terminator armor and cyclone/combi-melta or Arjac instead of the WG. Mixed unit works fine! TiguriusX
Mixed armor units make awesome alpha strike drop pod units PA Combi-plasma fun with TDA chainfists etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220024-mixed-wolf-guard-units/#findComment-2625620 Share on other sites

Can load up on a lot more combi-weapons if PA guys are thrown into the mix. I do this in my Logan lists. I'll take 10 man walking Wolf Guard with 2 of them having terminator armor and cyclone missile launchers. Hmm, that's a good way to get extra missiles for pretty cheap. Lord Ragnarok
Mixed armor units make awesome alpha strike drop pod units PA Combi-plasma fun with TDA chainfists etc. Yeah, I was thinking about trying this. Three WG in termie with combi plasmas and 3-4 WG in PA with combi meltas (if 3 just one naked totaling 4) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220024-mixed-wolf-guard-units/#findComment-2625789 Share on other sites
