That's exactly what I'm going to do with my wings! Except mine will be DC black!!! Thanks for the visual.

 

np problem bro,glad it was useful in one way or another,oh do take note that if you gonna magnetise the wings,dont make the same mistake i did of ignoring the thickness..in the end the wings were not flushed to the main body when attached and i had to cut a groove into the base of the air intake thingy so it will sit snugly on the part where it,the wings and the hull connect.

wip of my 3 razorbacks..almost finish my first one,there is a tournament coming up and the organisers suddenly decided to only allow painted armies lol so putting a pause on my sr(s). c&c welcomed

thanks for the compliments,the black is just regular chaos black undercoat,given a very light drybrushing of codex grey as well as for painting the scratches .As for the claws i painted a dark tone of blue first,then half of the length in mordian blue,1/3 of that half in icy blue and pure white at the tip,and mask the areas to create the effect of blending with wild streaks of white "lightning" :lol: ill post a pic once i get into the process of painting my furioso.

Thisis jaw dropping... The blood talons are the best I've seen I think.

Dude how did you do the blood talons? U said you did some masking on there, how exactly?

 

oh by masking i mean i kinda mask the supposedly blended areas with white paint,ill post up a pic soon of what i meant,at work currently :)
