Option for converting a SW crozius

Just had this thought and haven't given it a go, yet.

The winged skull decoration on the sprue is a bit too large for a one handed crozius.

BUT, if you were to carefully cut the wings back to the secondaries (the smaller feathers close to the skull) you ought to have a decently sized crozius arcanum head with an appropriate wolf skull icon.

Still thinking about how to convert a plastic wolf skull helmet, though...

There is a good icon on the SW Terminator sprue - a winged wolf skull, which fits quite nicely on the top of a Power Axe or Thunder Hammer.

Other options are to mount the larger icon on a two handed weapon, balancing the size a bit.

As for the Wolf Skull, there aren't really that many options for Power Armour. I've seen a couple of conversions that involve putting one of the Wolf Skull pieces onto a Mk VI (Beakie) helm that has had the main face plate shaved off. Other than that, you could go with just a bare head and some kind of Wolf Skull on the armour somewhere, to look like a helmet?

Not really. Or at least not in my opinion. If I had a working camera I'd show you what I did, but I don't.

I stuck that winged skull on top of a two handed axe pole and it looks good. I also chopped off the top of a thunder hammer and put the winged skull on top and it looks good to me too.

I used the same winged skull, but I chopped the two wings of,and turned them so the flat side that was the top pointed outwards.

Nice! I wouldn't have thought of that one! Gotta remember it.

The full winged skull looks great on the power axe and thunder hammer hafts, will likely do that for a rune priest as a runic weapon.

Haven't got around to adding termies to my army yet, or a drop pod for that matter. I'll have to look into both of those bits.

I also thought about the skull bit on a beakie helmet. I'd like to see more than the one pic before I try it, though.
