Deathwing

A friend of mine who got me into this addiction is a Dark Angel player. me being a sons of Russ our friendly rivalry fits our chapters. We decided out of a my chapter is better than yours drunken discussion we decided to paint something from the other persons chapter. I am doing up a deathwing squad and a belial conversion for him. I will be doing a seperate thread for the belial.

 

the two heavy weapons terms have magnetic arms and can trade out for TH/SS

What an odd rivalry. I would have taken this opportunity to paint the individual bits up nicely, and then construct them with nothing but sticky tac. When it comes time for your first battle, reach over and smash each casualty you cause.

 

It seems you're a nice guy though, so I guess keep up the good work. What color will the robes be?

its more firends then rivalry. he is painting up a drop pod and a couple things of the wolves.

 

the robes will be a dark green for the wing and white for the apothecary

Any chance of a close up on those finished models?

 

 

The highlighting looks very good, but depth of shade can be just as important, a close up picture might help you gather some C&C.

More or less, yeah. ^

 

 

 

 

I think a thinned wash of Devlan Mud, or just thinned brown ink/paint would really make these models fantastic.

 

It'd settle in all the recesses and make your highlighting pop that much more.

 

 

I guess it'd just be whether or not you'd want to risk it.. Hah.
