Vindicatus
I had thought to take my time and finish my Thunderhawk before the end of the year. However, if I did that, it would sit unused on my table for far too long, and that just won't due. As a result, I entered myself into the Librarium Painting Challenge and pledged that the Ordo Malleus Inquisitori Gunship-class Thunderhawk Litany of Chastisement be painted before March 31st of this year. Below are a few work in progress shots, going section by section. Today, I airbrushed the nose section black and worked on cutting out some plasticard for the cockpit windows, and then detailed the front decorative plate. http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n528/Vindicatus_133/014-3.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n528/Vindicatus_133/013-1.jpg Next to come will likely be the side scrolls and various weathering effects, followed by a coat of sealant before moving on to the next section of the ship. Vindicatus
Quick note : The camera shots and lighting are horrible because the lightbox I have isn't anywhere NEAR big enough to house this monster. Sitting at nineteen inches long and seventeen wide at the wingtips, I need to find a fridge-box to set this thing in to take better pictures.
