I was screwin around with some spare bitz I had and found a pose that looked pretty epic and dynamic. A few minutes later, I had sculpted up a base for him and decided to use him as a test model. In all honesty, I *abhor* the way Librarians are *supposed* to be painted, but I am thinking of either painting him up in chapter colours (as of yet undecided) or a very light blue, glazed over white, and shaded almost to black, highlighted almost to white, for a really metallic-looking contrast. Any suggestions would be very very much appreciated (for colours, basing, what have you). Currently, the base has just been pock-marked in prep for adding basing materials and so forth, to make it look more natural in the end. I am planning on a scorched grass and pebbles look, with a bit more detail made on that tree stump too (maybe sculpting on a mushroom or two). Killian Doyle Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 Before you put the insane levels of effort a GD entry requires onto this beauty, I should warn you, that's a non GW torso you got there, and that's automatic disqualification from GD contest.
