Sh0sen: Cheers Frater! The Falcon is a really nice add on, have used him a number of times (normally on Wolf Priest "counts as") and comes from a Bretonian WFB box, Knights IIRC.

And so, on to tonights efforts, more work on the next scout biker:

Dont say you went over the top with the weathering!! It looks great and extremely realistic, just enough to see and put in the right places as usual. Love all the new additions, the sabre is awesome and I cant wait to see the diorama of the tusker done.

One final note, your posing is great, you have done a great job to get the relaxed look.

Love it all! Keep it up!

Andrew J: Thanks Brother, actually it has grown on me as well, so happy i went as heavy as I did (and quite a bit has worn off). Regards the Diorama all of the recent stuff (Sabre, Tusker & Scouts) is being prepped for the same one and I am glad the relaxed pose is coming through as the whole thing is kinda reliant on that and it's not easy finding a space marine face that isn't screaming or looking more than a little angry!!

And now I am looking for one that is smiling but may actually have lucked out on that one!

More soon(ish!)

Cheers all,

Good evening all!

Just a quick look at what I'm working on at the moment.

All part of the greater Diorama good that everything is going toward.

Trying to get the "Warriors Handshake" right was a beech, obvi really work in progress on the GS and am going to have the trim the arm holding the helmet as it is redonkulously long!

Cheers all!

More good work here. I like that hooded bird. I'd seen it used elsewhere and thought it was a fun idea I might have used, but it doesn't fit the character of my project chapter. Looks perfectly at home in yours though. The shake is a great looking pose too. I might suggest you have the fully armored Marine cradling the helmet instead of having it dangle. Would eliminate your "gorilla arms" problem somewhat by obfuscating the length of the arm.

Though it does illustrate perfectly why I didn't touch the length of the arms when I made my Tall Scales, lol. Poor GW Space Marine models have some proportions issues right off the sprue, haha.

Evening all!

eetdestroyer: I know right, and thankyou!

DAT: Thanks brother, much appreciated!

CyderPirate: Thanks on both counts brother! always enjoy positive feedback on the colour scheme!

redscorps: Thanks chap, had a look at your blog and and dig your work as well, especially the pred variant, great looking piece of kit! Also love the heat singed effect on the assault cannons!

Kierdale: Cheers brother!

Veteran Sergeant: Too kind mate, thought about the cradled helmet but hoping to have a bolter slung under that side so dangle it must but have trimmed the arm down so it does look better (no honestly it does!) but yeah, good choice messing with the arms, they really don't need it!

Olisredan: Cheers Olis!

And the shortened arm!

Cheers all!

Greetings all!

Wicced: Cheers Brother, much appreciated, sadly never played Fall Out but I'll take your word for it!

On to the weekends workings, the Tuskers Theatre Support Trailer (TST)

The way I see it this badboy, based on a stretched Rhino chassis, gets lugged around by the Tusker fully loaded to resupply front line bike and tank units.

If the Tusker gets called away on a recovery mission the TST can be dropped off, autonomous close in weapon systems taking care of point and air defence.

Whilst ideally paired with a tow vehicle the TST retains the Rhino chassis' propulsion system so can be moved using secondary control systems.

Anyway, here it is!

Obvi very WIP, but having a lot of fun making this!

A lot of the measurements have occurred by fluke, like the extension in length being exactly the width of an additional rhino door but coming along well if a little stuck with exactly how to make the trailer hitch...

Cheers all!

Cheers guys, between you you covered all the bases I was going for ;)

The Triple A Mount had to look pretty sexy without taking up too much space (which is why I rejected the other forgeworld punisher cannon I have lying around, boo hiss)

And it had to look functional in a 40k setting where, granted the rules can be bent a little!

The trays were a fluke after I found my old "battlefield accessories" box and rally wanted to use the ammunition crate interior in some way and the lockers came about as I have one of my "servitors" running with 2 boxes of ammunition to rearm the bikes so I wanted to show where they had come from.

Looking much tidier now but Camera is down for the mo but updates soon!

Cheers all

NightHunters, just loving your conversions mate! Every time you add something new I am impressed. Certaily got some very inspiring stuff going on there mate :). Love the Tusker - what a piece! Looks like it should to be in a Forge World 'How to' guide. The mini diorama is very eye-catching. I tried something similar months back but got stressed out & bored with it in the end as I could not get the hand-shake right. Hats off to you on that one!!!!! The new Rhino looks fab, the trays are a particualry nice touch :). Keep up the great work dude. :)

Terinatorinhell&Dorns padawan: Lordy, cheers guys always a pleasure to get that kind of feedback! Really you are far too kind!

Been working some more on the T-TST

The broad strokes stuff is done so next it will all be about the details and the interior to the left hand ammo lockers. Big shells in this one, but how big?

the vindicator shells are just too massive so will be experimenting with some 1/35 scale 120mm I have lying around.

Cheers again all!

G'Day all!

Right after much Jubilee style celebrating I have managed to finish off, to a greater degree, the big shell ammo lockers.

Whilst not perfect the 120m shells look the part so happy with those and the lockers seem to work as well.

Just need to go back and add the small detail, rivets, ammo counters, opening handles etc

Cheers all!

Kierdale: Cheers brother! Had a lot of fun making the cutouts, one of those "takes seconds with the right equipment", I did not have the right equipment. It took hours with the scalpel and a generouse sacrifice to the Blood God interspersed with much cursing and calling of names so glad you noticed!

Terminatorinhell: Can the trays slide you ask, why of course! Actually no, wish they did but running out of time and skill to get this thing finished. No doubt I will do another in the future which will be all singing all dancing but alas not this one.
