Cheers guys, Great advice all round! The yellow vent is indeed growing on me not least because I believe Biohazard is right, it does make the back look wider and please go right ahead redneckboss, the more of these the merrier! Have also noted the black imperial eagle Schusen, will be trialling that further through the process but I really like it!

Not much more to show, just layering up all the colours, will post a pick before it flys through the weathering brush/sponge/wash/powders!

Wow... I just finished flicking through this thread and I am loving what I see! Really excellent conversion, modelling, paint jobs... well, just everything, really!

I do have a question, though; Do you play with this army currently? And if so, how do you stop your opponents from being blasted apart by the sheer glory like that bit in Sunshine?

Ha cheers guys! Had another look at the teeth situation and there, sadly is no way they are getting on this nose :P

Also ran up the intake in yellow, not convinced to be honest, but will sleep on it, all thoughts appreciated!

Cheers Razblood, been working on that but you may be waiting some time!

Rottimus: All hail the creator! Cheers brother, certainly don't know about better/nicer and wouldn't exist without yours for inspiration! Looking forward to seeing the original storm hog in all its glory!

SAH-WEEEEeeeet! Great looking stuff (as always) I love the light grey belly. Definitely got a Russian Front/leningrad sector/JG52 feel to it. BTW, new battle report up in a few hours at my blog..... keep the tea away from the monitor.

Cheers guys! Sorry for the belated reply, real life etc etc blablabla.

Redneckboss: Yeah quite right mate, looking at a cross between JG 52 and H U Rudels Kannonenvogel!. May have to make another couple so I paint one up in colours of old Hartman :)

Will be sure to have a read on the exploits of the donut lovers ASAP!

Schusen: Thanks frater, I feel your pain, use the wolves list myself so have had to make use of the "Allies" allowance  which to be honest does vex me a little!

Hopefully more tomorrow!

Cheers all

Now then as I am gifted at being annoying...

http://www.shopeaa.com/images/products/detail/20101001_23fixed.1.JPG

So I can see it would be difficult... but on the darker air intake...

Well like I said I am annoying and please understand regardless of how you finish this you are an artist and I am in awe... /bow.

:) Alright brothers, alright, I give in! I promise that I will give it a go on the next one :)

Seriously tho, you guys are far too kind and rest assured there will be another, hopefully 2!

But first to finish Zero-3 who has been KICKING MY ASS the little rascal!

Doesn't look bad from this angle:

gallery_42238_5618_26252.jpg

But a little closer and :

gallery_42238_5618_168949.jpg

So, turns out the old inks separate and go opaque. Faeces.

Also the right hand turbine has been totally redone due to a special moment.

Also my gold painting skills seem to have vanished. Totally.

In short, Zero-3 is lucky not to have met with a nasty bit of flak.

But we persevere!

Cheers all!

Don't knock yourself, man. You've done a fantastic job.

A bit late to mention perhaps but I remember hearing that some people glue cockpits in place with PVA/wood glue to prevent misting/make it easier to touch up the interior...

Did you superglue/plastic glue it in? If not you might be able to get it off and have a go at cleaning it up..? If you're a perfectionist :tu:

Went through this whole thread and have to say everything is seriously awesome, that camo scheme must take some serious patience. Also something I learned from building cars and planes, to keep canopies crystal clear, try dipping it in future floor polish then set it on toothpicks to dry/settle for about 24 hours. It helps avoid the fogging from super glue and if you get odd thick spots in the future you can just dip it in windex and start over.

Okay I saw this and laughed...

It is from this thread...

There are some AWESOME weathered vehicles there btw.

As for you and this beast, you do whatever you want. It is your army obviously and it should be exactly what you want... pay no attention to us unskilled monkeys in the peanut gallery ;) .

Biohazard: Cheers mate, may have to run that excuse if I can't get it cleared :)

Kierdale: don't you worry my friend, canopy is only blue tacked on! Still need to detail the interior and the pilot. Save for the failed HUD experiment the rest of it is still crystal!

Lancer: Many thanks brother! Also for the furniture polish tip, do ya reckon if I dab a tiny bit o scorpion green into it I can get a translucent look? Again, thanks for looking :tu:

Anaraion: Ha! Thanks mate, big fan of Zxyogi's work too! In fact if you look 4 posts under that picture you will find my post  none the less you are quite right, great weathering on his stuff and he actually gave me the tips on the burnished exhaust tips.

Will try and get the cockpit done this week!

Cheers all!
