Inaspin
Hi again... I am just coming back to 40k, after a stint in the bloodbowl wilderness. I am playing my BA's tonight for the first time, for a long time, (post some pics soon). Anyway I have painted a couple of things to ramp up my old army, including the Sanguinor guy. I am just reading through the codex to check his 'skills' and he bestows some +'s to a sergeants stat line, and gives +1 attack to any unit within 6" etc. I was wondering if these +'s are cumulative, (if positioning is correct on the battlefield of course)? Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section btw. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220670-hi-quick-question/ Share on other sites
Ebsolom
I was wondering if these +'s are cumulative, (if positioning is correct on the battlefield of course)? Firstly, welcome back to 40k and the BA! B) As regard to the cumulative effects of the +1A, I presume you mean in conjuction with the Chapter Banner which also confers this ability. Yes they are cumulative. Now hurry up and post up some pics ;) :P Edit: Forgot the bit regarding the blessing  , thanks 4RC71C FOXX! 4RC71C FOXX
If the sergeant that the Sanguinor has blessed is within 6" of the Sanguinor he would gain the extra +1 attack for being within 6", on top of the extra +1 attack that has been added to his "base" by the Sanguinor's blessing. Inaspin
Thanks for the replies... so it's cumulative, and if the unit includes chapter banner, includes the 'blessed' sergeant, fights within 6" of the Sanguinor and it is subject to furious charge/red thirst the attacks keep mounting...jolly good. The Sanguinor was awesome btw. Slaying the Hive Tyrant before it got to strike back and then a Trygon thanks to his invunerable save keeping him in the fight...only falling to a very lucky spore mine! JamesI
Well, its not possible to get the chapter banner and Sanguinor's Blessing on the same unit (no sergeants in Honor Guard or Sanguinary Guard) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/220670-hi-quick-question/#findComment-2637629 Share on other sites

Inaspin
Well, its not possible to get the chapter banner and Sanguinor's Blessing on the same unit (no sergeants in Honor Guard or Sanguinary Guard) Ok...noted B). It was just the powerfist on one of them...you auto assume he is a sergeant, but all are equal there!
