Temple Knights

Okay, so I've started the base and am just waiting for the test bases to dry.

the brown base i day to rebase as I got a bit eager and started painting the base and it just all came off.

But just looking at the colours, I actually think I like Conandoodle's idea of brown bases as I think it ties the model together quite well.

What do you all think?

I know this is a triple post but yeah,

Decided on the Brown bases as I thought they looked better and then started basing all of my painted models:

Also decided to take an army shot for you:

Tanks will be basecoated soon and I'm working on all the terminators right now.

As always Comments and Criticism would be appreciated.

Cheers.

I've tried "white" marines a couple of times and didn't like what I was able to do. Yours looks pretty good. The brown/grass bases make them look a lot better.

What are you going to do as a chapter badge?

Would you mind giving us a step by step on your white?

The Chapter symbol is gunna be a simpler version of the Black Templars, or if I can find some decals for the Black Templar's I'll use them.

The White is actually a bit of a cheat to be honest with you.

Its a White Basecoat,

Basecoat of Adeptus Battlegrey.

I then use prismacolor 005 fine liners

I forget where I found out about them but now I swear by them.

They're the perfect size for lining Space Marines.

I then highlight with watered down skull white.

I'll do a tutorial at some point for everyone, so you can see the process.

Hope that helps.
