Techmarine and Servo Harness

Phlegon

Recommended Posts

So I just got a tech marine and I want to magnetize his servo harness so I can swap it out with a conversion beamer. I am having trouble getting the servo harness to stay put and I am wondering, is the servo harness to heavy for my magnets. I have these magnets Some help would be greatly appreciated as this little kink is really holding me back.

Thanks

i don't use magnets, but maybe you could use two small ones insted of a single? Aside from that, you could always use superglue and then snap the harness off, but that might damage paint and such (done it myself in the past actually).

Hope this helps

The harnes is almost certainly too heavy for magnets alone!

But if you put a magnet in the dead centre of his back and a complimentary one on the harness, then surround that with four pins it should hold just fine!

Just make sure the pins are glued to the harness so all you have is some small holes on your techmarine.

I magnetized the servo-harness for one of my Techmarines.

I used a rather large magnet (not sure of the size) on both the model and the harness and then built up a greenstuff square "peg" above it (over two metal pins) that helps hold it in place and keep it from spinning.

It works well.
