evileyevirtue
I'm not 100% if this is the absolute best forum to post in just because this sort of crosses with the Blood Angels general thread as well as involve painting. So here goes. So I'm assembling a Blood Angels force, however I want to put a little color into it. I love the BA color scheme, but I don't really want to do an all red army so I was thinking that I'd like to compose my force of BA and successors as well. Here's a look at what I'm putting together right now: Chaplain and HG 2 Furioso Dreadnoughts w/ DP Tactical Squad w/ DP VV squad 4 RAS So the chaplain and HG are already painted up in BA colors as well as one RAS and the VV squad... so their colors are set. The question now is, what schemes do I paint the other squads in? At least one of the Furioso's is going to be BA, and most likely another RAS will be too. That leaves 2 RAS, 1 Furioso and the Tac squad. Now, I'm thinking at least one of the other RAS should be painted in Flesh Tearers colors, just because I like the scheme so much. For the tactical squad I'm thinking maybe Lamentors. What are your guys thoughts/ideas/input to this. I like the idea of the chapter and successors coming together to form a strike force, something like in the BA novels (ignoring here what you may think of those novels, that isn't the point here), and I'd like to do something like that for my army. Plus, I'd like to get away from painting ALL red models in my army... Plague Angel
RAS — Flesh Tearers Tacs — Lamenters Furioso — Angels Sanguine, because halved-schemes are awesome and look snappy on vehicles.
