Yummy. :) Nice work all around. Kinda makes me wish I was a bit more productive when it comes to basing. Speaking of which, it looks like you didn't quite finish the skull at the feet of Terminator #1.

Edit: Ah, didn't read close enough to see he was still a WIP ^_^

I was testing, I want to split the shield up to paint some heraldry... but I was unsure as to the split. I think it will be an upside down V.

Thanks all for the comments!

Nice to see you're keeping the ball rolling. The galaxy can never have enough Templars :P . On the robes, can I make a suggestion?

Having the ropes around the waist and ropes in general doesn't really fit the Templar theme: they use chains. Chains are cold, unyielding, and cool, all of which is very Templar. They also use belts, which are...well, they aren't ropes, at any rate. Anyway, to make them look a little less like mamby pamby DA and more like proper space knights, a quick filing along the ropes on the back of the main piece and some simple cutting and shaving on Templar torso fronts can yield something a bit more knightly, like this fellow:

Just a thought. Now get these done and to the front! :)

I really like that conversion! I will definately look into finishing the command squad in such fashion... I just cant see myself pulling apart the models now that they are built. And rope you say? Thats not rope :P that is steel cable. Haha.

Ha, well played :(. Anyway, that conversion is super easy and works with just about any of the Templar body pieces. Just one version failed to sit flush over the rinkles of the robe front: the older Mk. piece, if memory serves. Flattening out the rope cable on the back to match the belts of the Templar pieces is as simple as just passing a file over it a few times.

Ok cool, well if you recall I have done some extensive work on my assault terminators in the past using the terminators and the tabards:

Where did you get the shoulderpad for the first termie in your second post?

Black Templar upgrade box.

These look amazing! I'm a huge fan of chunky bases and those first Terminator bases are ace!

Thanks! Yeah I have tried to take more time on the basing of my models to make them more dynamic. I find the cities of death stuff makes for good mini dioramas!

Cheers
