Br0ther Rafen
not quite true. inquisitors have power over spacemarines. to an extent. sure he cant just point at the space wolves and say they have so much hair they are mutants kill them all. but he can go, they are hairyer than normal, we should look closer... and keep an eye on them, till he collects enough evidence so that he can sway enough inquisitors and those under their leadership to the task of killing off the dogs. infact i believe both chapters have been investigated before and neither like the inquisition and both have their secrets that they have hidden. although if ba would be declaird traitorus because of their flaws.... doughtful as they use them to futher their fight. if it became uncontrolable to the point we full on attack a brother chapter because they are wearing black and we mistook them for horus... the ironic thing about the Inquisiton is that they can't really declare either BA or SW excomunicate, simply because if they do, they are REALLY going to regret it. Anyway, if you want BA "representatives" in your Chaos army, then I would make them Death Company Raptors. Or, Death Company counts as Bezerkers, either way. Emperors Immortals
Never forget our fallen brothers - destroyed by those who should protect. DIKU
In regards to BA somehow being impervious to the corruptive influence of chaos, there was a point when no one thought Horus could be corrupted either. Hubris is a classic flaw in tragedies. However, if you want a center piece to your army, you could convert Mephiston as a demon prince. Who knows what pact he might have made buried under all that rubble? His stat line clearly indicates that there is something unnatural about him. And because GW has never explained this, you're free to draw your own creative conclusions. You could say that he had made a pact with a demon, thinking he could control it with his almighty space marine librarian powers (hubris anyone?) only to be proven tragically wrong. The conversion possibilities are endless Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221262-fallen-blood-angels/page/2/#findComment-2643756 Share on other sites
Brother Biskit
An Inquisitor trying to denounce the Blood Angels would be on very shaky ground. Sanguinus is worshiped throughout the Imperium on almost the same scale as the Emperor. An Inquisitor going after the BA would be much more likely to be declared Hereticus by his peers than the chosen sons of Sanguinius, even taking the flaw into account. I don't know what the Knights of Blood did to be denounced but it must have been something extremely serious. That’s not to say individual Blood Angels would not fall. I see a particular trait in their love of art that could lead one or two to Slanesh. Just think of Fulgrim and how he fell. Gv0zD
It is indeed unlikely that an inquisitor would denounce BA and keep his position (and life) afterwards. But I recall the reports made by Adeptus Sororitas regarding Flesh Tearers. The SW also fought them. If you do a DIY chapter and make them similar to FT it is possible to say that they were denounced by Inquisition as they .... well... slaughtered a lot of innocent people (or Imperial Guard or another chapter or SoB) in their Black Rage... Could be possible imho. And the denounced chapter could go renegade (not turn to chaos).
