What do you guys think? They do look a little DA I think but I want these guys to have unique storm shields and I don't know where to get some Anyone out there bought some custom bitz from places that work well with BA? Captain Juan Juarez Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 I've never been a fan of any of scribors stuff... my housemate uses a lot of his things for his dark angels though I've seen alot of 50/50 opinions about their sculpts not being exact even within a certain batch, so I think that explains alot of the trepidation for some people. The thing is, they look really good.. But you may not always get what you pay for. I know I've pilfered from the Dark Angels upgrade sprue for my BA models. And I'd love to paint the Fortress of Redemption red. Paint them a deep, dark, crimson and emphasise the Angels of Death aspect of the Astartes - you could, depending on the steadiness of your hand, try dabbing a dot of blood on the white-painted skulls on the shield for the bloody tear element.
