captain Angel
This army is absolutly amazing. I have been on the edge of creating a sanguinary guard army, but i have seen the awesome look of the army, And i think i will make my own! You are an excellent painter and inspiration! By the way is the Astorath conversion Dante, or did i miss him? JamesI
Love it, particularly the Raven. Hadn't considered a Storm Raven in Sanguinary Guard colors, but it looked really good. Brother Captain Kezef
nice I've been toying with the idea of painting my own SG army's furioso gold (when he finaly arrives). Some very cool conversions there! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221445-sanguinary-guard-army/#findComment-2645390 Share on other sites
Lord Captain Sam
Is the guy with the big wings Dante, Sanguinator or something else? I've toyed with this format, or an all deep strike force. PS- Those are inspiring paint jobs and conversions. VAGABOND
The guy with the Pegasus wings, I use as the Sanguinor and the Astorath model is my converson of Mephiston. The red unpainted squad are my Vanguard Veterans. There was an Honor Guard unit for this army but I tried to respray them with Army Pianter and it ruined my models so I'm pretty gutted that I'm gonna need to convert them again. Chapter Master Kanithon
The Army looks pretty amazing, always liked the idea of a whole Sanguinary Guard and you've pulled it off nicely Army Pianter and it ruined my models so I'm pretty gutted that I'm gonna need to convert them again. Dettol Antiseptic disinfectant is brilliant at taking the paint and basecoat off models =] Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221445-sanguinary-guard-army/#findComment-2646067 Share on other sites
VAGABOND
I've used Dettoll before on removing paint from models and it always leave a sticky residue and is impossible to remove. Brother Captain Kezef
Nice army, really well painted My sanguinary guard have the balance of a hippo on roller skates and keep falling over. How do you keep them balanced? If you are English, superglue a 2 pence coin under the base. I think a dime is the right size in America.
