Well a 2000 point game, err, uhhh, WARNING,WARNING, DANGER, DANGER: the following public service announcement contains some extremely questionable tactics and some very vulgar dice so please keep anyone from viewing this under the age of 14. You have been warned.

The Mech

Unlucky on having to face 4 dreadnaughts all at once man.

for my 2 cents im not a fan of thunderwolves at all :-/ they seem to be all the rage but in my games they get blasted so much they rarely leave my half of the table. on top of that they cost so many points u dont get many other overtly attackin units to back em up.

multimeltas on long fangs is definately not a choice i would make either. ML are just so much more versatile and they've got the range. they'll have popped those rhinos and razorbacks from a long way away.

i an see why u castled up at the back but once that dreadnaught came through the gap in the middle it was more like a prison than a centre point :-/ not a fan of deploying straight into a static defense

Dwpwnds. When I use Logan I take 6 guys, some of who have meltas. As they can move and shoot. If the enemy stand still they can tank hunt instead. This does awesome. I also add in a Rune Priest as he can gain from the Tank hunter and beefs the squad for melee. IF foot slogging I sometimes but a Terminator with a Power weapon, storm shield, and Cyclone missle launcher.

As to thunder wolves. Mine always do awesome. Usually winning the game for me or drawing it, if I have bad dice rolls. Depends how you use them. I never blindly run them in. I use cover and waut till turn 3 or 4 and then start rolling stuff. If they draw fire it's fine. Keeps other units intact. Everyone has their own play style thou. I also use 12 wolves with them as a shield. And you would be supprised how many kills these wolves get. Most people ignnore them, and this really helps them kill stuff.
