melvinmcsnatch
Sadly, I don't see them anymore. There were two online shops selling NIB for under retail including shipping. It just sucks that the Sisters models are sooo expensive now compared to just a few months ago. What's even worse is the people buying this stuff might not even be Sisters players, just people collecting the s**t expecting the price to go up higher so they can resell. Hopefully, plastic will come out and the price of metal will fall like a ton of bricks, and I can finish my all metal list. *Furyou Miko
If you're gonna get FW rhino doors, just get a FW exorcist. It looks significantly better than the organ gun. (amused thought: Dwarf Organ Gun strapped to the back of a Rhino: It's an Exorcist!) Major Silva
or you can make your own pipe organ from left over bits and glue that onto a rhino chassis Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221500-need-some-help-starting-a-witch-hunters-army-suggestions/page/2/#findComment-2660200 Share on other sites
Nias Wolf
Good news everyone! (/professorfarnsworth) One of the people that works at my local Games Workshop said plastic sisters is confirmed. He saw pistures. Said they haven't changed the overall design, just made them customizable like plastic space marines/imperial guard. No solid word on when the update will happen, but he seemed to think it would be the next one after Grey Knights. Technically, this is "hear-say" but still, seemed worth posting. Sister Rosette Soulknyt
No offence but how did your friend see new plastic SoB? did he go to England and walk right through to were they make them? Does he have pictures??. How many times are we going to hear speculative opinions that "i saw them"?? Until a rumor or pictures are confirmed by GW themselves, well i will just keep believing that it will come out when they want it too, and the rest is just rumors. And secondly, how can you compare the Whirlwind copy of the Excorsist to the Organ version? It looks so much better than a cheap knock off of the whirlwind. Oh wow, the put little symbols on the side, guess that makes all the difference then. The only main reason people dont like the Pipe Excorsist is it's moulding, and for someone who owns 4 Excorsists (no not the FW version), a converted SoB Baneblade with Excorsist launcher and is currently converting a Fortress of Redepmtion with a replaced Excorsist launcher instead of the silo, i have never had an issue with moulding. Just be patient, work on it, and use your brain, It will fix itself. Me, all mine didn't even need fixing. Nias Wolf
Right, so to clear things up a little... I walked in to get some paints. I hadn't been in the store for about a year (took a break from the game) so the guy working there (black polo shirt with his name on it and everything) did the whole "shake hands, ask name, How can I help you?" thing. I said I was just buying some paints. He said, oh, what army do you play. I said Witch hunters, rolled my eyes a little and pointed to the empty spot where the canoness blister was supposed to be. He laughed, said something about how he started out playing witch hunters, and that he couldn't wait untill the new codex came out. He was going to make an all Inquisition apocalypse force. I said something like "Oh, so the new release is confirmed then?" He said "Yeah, new models and everything!" CUT TO A FEW MINUTES LATER! Somehow I had mentioned that I'd been interested in the 40k universe since before I was 12, so he was showing me the wall of Black Library books. He was particularly talking about a new audio book, one on heresy era death guard. I said that I was glad to see that they still came in CDs, because I have a hard time with computer files and stuff (didn't wind up buying the book). He mention Kindles and iPads and stuff, didn't seem like he was a huge fan either. Someone mentioned Witch Hunters again IMPORTANT STUFF HERE! I asked, "By the way, are the new models plastic or metal?" He said they were plastic! Someone from GW had brought an iPad in with some pictures of plastic grey knights and Witch Hunters. He mentioned it was about time, stating that GK and WH were the only armies that were still all metal (as if I didn't know, HA!). IMPORTANT STUFF ENDS Then I bought my paints, some glue, and an Imperial Guard Techpriest because I had always liked the model. If you don't believe me, I understand, but I speak the TRUTH. I guess time will tell if he was lying to me. :P Hopefully this gives some of you hope, it sure did for me!
