I'm a lot happier with the Terminators than the bikers. I'll probably redo the bikers considerably at a later point.

And the ETL is on again. First vow:

 

I, Taranis, answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete a Landraider Crusader(multi melta), a Landraider (multi melta), a Whirlwind, a DC Dreadnought (Heavy flamer), a tri las Predator (Hunterkiller), a TL lascannon Razorback, a landspeeder (Heavy flamer + Multi Melta) and 2 Fragioso (Heavy flamers, Magna grapples) from Codex: Blood Angels of total value of at least 1390 points on or before August 15th. Success will bring eternal glory to the Blood Angels and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of Shame until the year-end.

 

 

 

2 fragioso. Body is primed red. Weapons need priming. Whirlwind in the background. Weapon primed black. Hull basecoated red gore? By previous owner. It'll be more red soon.

It's been far too quiet here, sadly. Job has been stealing most of my time as has maintenance/repairs on our very small farm. I hope to be up and painting efficiently soon.

The two fragiosos are well under way. I've run out of red though so I'm painting what I can with the rest of the colors.

I've yet to decide how to mount the multimelta. I'm extremely open to suggestions.

The tracks are on the predator, the sponsons are magnetized and the main turret weapon has been cut and await magnets and drilling.

Vow complete. Swapped 2 multimelta for stormbolter and hunter killer missile. Couldn't find a good enough way of attaching the multimeltas.

I probably will return to a few of these when I get more inspired. To be honest, painting so many "large" models didn't feel good. I guess I chose too much in order to rack up the points of the ETL.

A piece of advice to myself and other. Smaller vows, frequent updates could significantly lift the spirit of our efforts. I intend to use all my 5 vows.:)

Overall i learned a lot. I play too few games and got tabled once. Lost all 5 games but some ok battles nonetheless.
