averykess
I don't have any experience with the FW weathering powders, but they are much more expensive than Tamiya and Micro-Mark.com sell. Allerka
I've had the opportunity to use some, and I've been dirtying up some of my biker Marines. So far it's been working pretty well. The only thing is when I went to seal the powder on the glossy leather boots of my Scout Bikers, there was some sort of adverse reaction that basically destroyed the color of the boots (forcing a repaint). I'm pretty sure it was a reaction with the varnish or something, it hasn't happened anywhere else. I've been using Light Earth and Dark Earth mostly, which work good, though I also have Black Soot and Grey Ash (however, those two seem to be pretty bad). kaz.
There are many ways to use pigments, you can mix them up with acrylics , weathering you tanks, even on bases they are very helpful. I use them very often (i`ve got pigments from MIG) and i`m very happy with them. There are many tutorials out there to make you understand how you can use in many different ways.
