Cyrox Posted February 7, 2011 Author Share Posted February 7, 2011 @TerminatorinHell Yes, its a Techmarine pilot so I went for the Red armour As for Weapons loadout, i have no idea yet ;) The Red is actually Army Painter Pure Red spray. I was in two minds whether or not to use it, as i think the finish from their sprays is pretty poor, but i wanted to get it painted! Dr Duck Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 I've been working on mine but bumped into the problem of paint vs plastic glue. Wanted to paint the interior of the cabin (which went well) but stupidly also painted the exterior of those parts too which then left me with a sludgy mess on the joins. Most of its cleared now but it had me a bit worried for a moment! I've decided now to build all I can before doing any more painting as trying to paint in the tighter spots seems to be the lesser of two evils. As adorable as an 8' cybernetic supersoldier can be anyways. Shouldn't an arm or at least a shoulder pad be painted chapter colors though? Still amazing either way. Been busy working on Night Lords , and due to painting up a test vehicle in Hawk Lords colours and it looking daft, i put this on a back burner. However.... I have decided to use him for my Salamanders force that i've just started, so this will be a Salamander Stormraven Sooo.... Minor update - Cockpit finished.
