Grey Knight Storm Raven

Dezartfox

Recommended Posts

Quickly painted this up this evening for the shop display,

2nd Storm raven I've painted overall -_-

I've found out blue weathering powder makes glow effects really easy ;)

I mainly use the FW ones, the blue one was from Secret Weapon, Patina Blue. No idea why I have it.. but now I know its useful

The black is the FW black soot, the other weathering effects are washes.

Cheers -_-

Thank you dude, I thought the FW ones were powder for some reason. lol

I'll definately check them out now.

Cheers :D

Very nice job¡

I love the metallic tone, could I ask wich paint did you use? All the glow effects are done with pigments??

I would only change 3 things:

1) Deepest shadows on the pannels.

2) More crevices definition, using oils.

3) Adding a contrast colour , that classic red/bone for example.
