Schertenleib
Have been trying to get my army painted for a local tournament recently. Last Sunday I took it to a LGS for a test run. I have spears on the tops of my Rhinos to help "Wolf them up". I got some great comments from the others at the store about them. This did get me thinking though.... Fenrisian warriors are mighty on land or sea. One of the Wolf Lords fluff even talks about how he has expanded this into being an expert at ship to ship combat in space. So as I'm still (slowly) working on my LRC I thought I would add a figure that is positioned to repel boarders. His right hand seems to be a bit low putting a slight bow in the spear, but it was not a bad first attempt in my opinion. The Son of Russ
i can just imagine him poking an ork off the tank saying "down, get off! down!" it is good though, i like the snowy weathered effect given by the tank. Schertenleib
Good looking paint job. How did you paint the white?dchmp It's an IG snow camo pattern that they had posted on the GW site. It's very difficult  You take a piece of foam, like what comes in a miniatures blister pack, and put it into your paint. Dab off some of the excess on a paper towel. Then pat the model with the painted foam (this is called stippling IIRC). When you have the coverage you want stop and do your accent colors. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221771-something-i-just-thought-of/#findComment-2651507 Share on other sites
Beef
Great conversion and idea but you really need to black line your models. Either that or start with a black undercoat Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221771-something-i-just-thought-of/#findComment-2651571 Share on other sites
