Hi

Some of you may have seen my post about making ursine ghost, space bears mainly...so i would still like it linked to space wolves still, and so would help some help with fluff and well equipment,

I was thinking of runic armour, frost axe, WTN, WTT, Belt of Russ and Saga of the Bear and putting him with some blood claws for CC ownage?

Thanks

Usually the best places for a Lord is on a Thunderwolf or bike to make sure he is mobile and really want to get stuck in. Wolf Claw is most often slightly better than a Frost Weapon and fits better with a storm shield instead of the belt, however Frost Weapon most often looks more Badass and works real well with a TWM since you can instakill t3 and threaten vehicles as well.
I want to have a non-cheese list, so no TWC...yh any help on having him in a rhino squad and rerolls dont matter off wolf claws, cos i'll have wolf priest too?

There is nothing cheese about TWC, they are good but cost for it with many ways to counter them. However you dont need TWC to have a Lord mount, you could run him with a group of F-wolves.

Also a lord in a rhino is generally not that good cause it can be tricky to get the charge off against good opponents as well as it is not that durable.

If you are dead set on running him in a rhino, then I'd prob suggest frost blade or wolfclaws,a storm shield, RUNIC ARMOR, and whatever other toys you'd like to give him with a wolf priest in RUNIC armor as well, and 7 Grey Hunters with MOTW, WOLF STANDARD, maybe a fist on a GH or a PW (though it depends on how many points are available and if you want to deck that GH squad out that much) and a pack leader with fist and combi melta. On the turn that you pop your wolf standard, Your Lord and Priest will be nigh invulnerable to mere mortal weapons :P

Also the good thing about the generic wolf lord is that it isn't as imperative that you get the charge off since you typically get counter attack. (Ragnar is another story though). Also the benefit of a wolf priest over a chaplin is that prefered enemy is every turn whether you charge or not vs just the turn in which you charged (not counter attacked).
