Zacharius Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 So, I've been trying to get together my Blood Angels for some time now but been lacking a bit of motivation to even get started. I figure if I post my progress on here that might work as doing that has worked for me in the past. I've always liked the older versions of power armour, so at some point along the way, this project suddenly became one of using pretty much every variant of armour somewhere in the army. I think Forge World are mostly to blame for this, as soon as they started releasing the older variants I knew I had to have them. So this is where we're at so far: Assembled/Painted/Started Painting http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p1/tripswitch84/1.jpg Characters: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p1/tripswitch84/2.jpg Troops: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p1/tripswitch84/5.jpg On the assembly line: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p1/tripswitch84/3.jpg Still to come: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p1/tripswitch84/4.jpg So, I have decided somewhere along the lines of the following Mk 2 - Assault troops on foot Mk 3 - Devastators Mk 4 - Honour Guard/Vets Mk 5 - Death Company Mk 6 - Jump Pack troops I've already used Sevrin Loth as you can see as one of my librarians, I plan to use the parts from his Honour Guard to make some Sanguinary Priests rather than actual Honour Guard, since I want those in Mk 4 armour. The other librarian is a conversion from various bits I did a while ago, originally for my Crimson Fist army, but I've since removed any Fists iconography and replaced with Blood Angels. So I'm planning to cut the nozzle/vent of the backpack on that side and then use some guitar wire to create some power cords linking the backpack to the weapon instead.
