The tailcone is the main problem it´s too short. So i started to extend it. Shadey Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Noice! Just what I was thinking. I was hoping to do the same but tbh, I don't have the scratch building skills. I can measure 15 times, cut once, and still screw it up. Still, I have no problem living vicariously through you so, *whipish crack* We have a Stormraven that needs to go under the knife. Btw, gonna do anything about the positioning of the hurrican bolters? Or the height of the air scoop/turret? Those are the other main complaints I hear about this model. Don´t worry, it´s only a small break from my SW. I finished work earlier today so i got the chance to work a bit on my SR this afternoon. I magnetized the weapons and i adjusted the tailcone to the main body. With the extended tailcone the SR looks a lot better. They´re 1.5mm x 0.5mm (diameter x thickness), really thin and small. Specially for the armour of the turret weapons they´re perfect. With the 2" longer tailcone the SR looks much better.
