our revered warriors!

Recommended Posts

My excellent girlfriend hinted that a dreadnought might be in the works for a valentines day present! It would be the first dread in my crusade, and as such will likely be a centerpiece as they are my favorite models, but I have no idea about how to model them, or even paint them!

Enter, you. The veteran hobbyists and persons with eyes for details and artistic ability, this is an opportunity to show off your disfigured heroes in armoured sarcophogii!

Looking for inspiration from my templar brethren.

Cheers

He's not quite finished (still need to paint the rivets and hightlight him) but here is my AoBR Dread:

As a side note... I wish I knew of a way to shrink the images displayed in posts (without re-uploading smaller images to begin with). I hate it when they show up that large.

My Ven Dread.

Have to say Lots of good examples of our fallen brothers so far

Chaplain Pelagius love the shading/flames on the chest

And Eberious..............well...........just wow amazing detail ;)

He's not a venerable like all my fellow brothers here...but my first dreadnought as seen a few months ago. He's a bit more shiny in the picture than in real life though...think that is a bit of the flash reflecting off the purity seal. :D
