BlOoD_GoD
Ok, i was looking at the dismal selection of vehicles in the Chaos part of forgeworld, and is tumbled upon this Dreadclaw Assault Pod. Now my main question is, can i use these in a norma game? Or does it require some expansion to use, like most chaos vehicles on that site... Valkyrion
Imperial Armour Apocalypse. It's not a drop pod as such, it's a AV12 all round flyer that carries 10 or a dreadnought. If you were playing me I'd let you use it as a traditional drop pod if you wanted, or even as a skimmer in a normal game, but as with pretty much anything on FW, you'll have to ask your opponent. Given that it is a 'flyer', it is really Apocalypse games only. Hellios
It can be used in normal games, but many tournys do not allow FW units (or specifically flyers) and some players are really grumpy and assume it is unfair and cheating if it is from FW... so some people might not be up for letting you use it. I would let you use it either as a flyer per the FW rules or as a drop pod. Just a quick note... FW has rules for using flyers in non-apoc games that are significantly different from the APOC rule. As this vehicle is a transport the only real issue is the enemy will get to shoot you once before you land... if a flyer is destroyed in the air... well that isn't good for the unit it is transporting... On the other hand Khorne Berzerkers and chaos dreads straight into the face of that smug [insert race here] player is always good fun :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/221990-dreadclaw-assault-pod/#findComment-2652494 Share on other sites

If you play at a club/store where a lot of people play and you often play people you don't really know that well then it might be worth asking the club/store if it is ok and if they are fine with it just make sure you warn whoever you are playing against before you start to play that you are using XX unit.
