Hezrou
Hi, I have just added some GS detail to a couple of mini's that are already painted. my question is will i be able to just paint the gs without an undercoat? I know GW used to do the smelly primer paint, do thefundation paints work in a simular way? djhg
You can paint straight onto greestuff, but you require a couple of extra coats to get a proper smooth finish. Also, for reasons unknown to me the paint will rub off significantly easier. DarKHaZZ13
its because of the 'lubricants' used in the process djhg, like vasseline and such... If its already painted fully then I suggest giving it a hand undercoat and the matt varnishing it. should stop the rubbing off problem and give you a nice surface to paint over. If its not fully painted and you don't mind starting over just udnercoat the whole model again hope this helps DH Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/222110-greenstuff-question/#findComment-2654952 Share on other sites
