Hello all, I'm kinda new here,

 

i've been lurking for a few weeks and have finaly started up an account.

 

I've just got back into the hobby after about a year out and i'm trying to focus this time. I'm going to try and get an army together and do a few games as a way to help me keep focus.

 

anyways, I'll always get sidetracked a little by the odd model here and there, so this log is going to be both army stuff and random side projects.

This is a colour test for doing Crimson Fists as i'm planning on painting a mini for a local comp.

I'm going to attempt to make a mini of the classic picture of the CF sergant striding forwards, got all the pieces, just need to paint.

shoulder fist design was done with a press mold of the cf icon, the only mold that survived the mold experiments ¬__¬

Right, main army plans. Considering it's what's pulled me back into the hobby via the Rogue Trader RP and the Black Library, I felt like building an AdMech Army.

 

Planning on running it 'Counts As' Witch hunters, so...

Also, kinda a bit pre-emptively, a Pretorian Tribune (counts as Celestian superior)

The Tempus Fugitive AdMech codex said these guys were armed with Bolt Carbines, so I tried to model something a little different to a standard bolter.

Anywho, thats the stuff i've done in the last few weeks, I may dig out some old marines and put together a few pieces from my DIY Chapter along with another colour test guy i'm gonna do when I get the Tech Guard squad done.
