Dave the Twisted
Looking good. I always appreciate seeing those camoflaged Badab War marines, and I'll say you did yours really well. If you've got a bit of change lying around, I'd say try picking up some chainaxes somewhere. I'd also like to see a better shot of that power weapon. I would suggest running a bit of ink into the where the shoulderpad meets the trim if you're having them both the same color though.

Crusader of Dorn
Nice work replicating the camouflage, they are an under represented chapter compared to the other badab war participants. I did the same scheme on a spare terminator, what are the colours you've used? I tried SW Grey and Regal Blue (layered + highlights) cheers btw, is it official that the Executioners are IF successors?
Heru
btw, is it official that the Executioners are IF successors? Yep. 3rd Founding with several successors of their own (Iron Champions, Crimson Axes and Skull Bearers).
Brother Craig
Okay, prime the models with codex grey, wash with badab black and then repaint codex grey leaving the black wash in the recesses. Paint thr camo blotches in regal blue do not highlight instead use a triangular three dot pattern in codex grey. Crusader of Dorn
The freehand on the cloak is looking good. Havent read the IA books yet, what is the current Executioners colour scheme?
Heru
The freehand on the cloak is looking good. Havent read the IA books yet, what is the current Executioners colour scheme? Something like this: Their scheme is the most difficult to pin down, as every marine has a different variation and the blue is metalic, as is the brazen brass colour'esk face and backpack. The 40k Hobbiest
I like the color scheme on the camoflauge. It's like the Desert Storm scheme, but different colors. I like it!
Crusader of Dorn
That colour scheme looks quite plain, even if it is applied in variation. I guess the camo is what draws your attention to the chapter. I had the idea once that they kept the camo as a reminder of their penance, as it gives the excuse to paint it post Badab. Brother Craig
I'm planning a dreadnought or terminator squad obviously in camo colours. My scythes of the Emperor marines are taking over the workbench at the moment though
