So yea...

Haven't had much time to paint/build my vow of Grimaldus and Chosen Champion Thanato (converted).

Grimadlus will be the same ol' Grimaldus, although if the model was not so expensive i would consider buying two and making a converted one with some other parts but thats for another time....

My Emperor's Champion however will be something that i do not think has been done before. I will take GW's mini and cut and cut it into oblivion to make it the base of a charging Chosen One Thanato. Complete with a challenging pointing arm, and the great Black Sword held back ready to plunge it into a body of his choosing. I will keep the theme of the GW mini of a sleek armored warrior. His features seem so much thinner than regular space marines, so i imagine him as a nimble swordsmen. I will ATTEMPT to keep the GW head, legs(respositioned), and swordarm(repositioned with improved sword). The torso and other arm coming from something else.

Small vow yes, but i prefer quality over quantity, and i would never get more than that done until spring and summer break. :)

So with no pictures yet as my phone is crap, i need some help in the form of advice.

I need a jewelers saw. Any recommendations? I will be cutting SOO precise and fine so i need something thin.

Also some mini files would be good. Any ideas? I have trouble finding a jewelers saw in my area so i will most likely order online.

Pics to come. :)

Haha, sounds like you have just as much work for your Vow as I do mine.

I wish I could help you with the saw but I don't have any experience in that department, but I'm sure a Brother on these forums could help, maybe check out the painting/conversion forums?

I'm looking forward to your models, get some photos up so we can ooh ahh them
