prenelf
Im just wondering when in CC with eldar who are guided (i think thats the one that lets them re roll fails to hit sorry if wrong) does seths rule ferocious instincts count for every 1 rolled or just the ones after the reroll. JamesI
just after the reroll. Rolls that are rerolled are considered to have never happened (just like a mastercrafted plasma gun wouldn't overheat if the first roll was a 1, only the reroll) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/222370-gabriel-seth-and-ferocious-instincts/#findComment-2658101 Share on other sites

Astorath the Grim
I agree with JamesI for what its worth. I love Seth and his ferocious instincts, its highly amusing when Seth takes the Avatar of Khaine out in melee combat due to that rule alone Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/222370-gabriel-seth-and-ferocious-instincts/#findComment-2658113 Share on other sites
Malus the Destroyer
Ohh, That rule vs bad dice with Kharne the Betrayer equals a whole lotta hilarity and one very irate Chaos player. And they have a power that lets them reroll to hit on shooting. And they have a power that lets them reroll to wound specific units but not to hit in close combat. Vilicate
Well, Doom helps them to re-roll to wound rolls, and Fortune helps to re-roll armor saves, but other than that, they don't have anything that allows them to re-roll misses in CC. Maybe in the next book. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/222370-gabriel-seth-and-ferocious-instincts/#findComment-2659169 Share on other sites
Blood Spartan
SO if playing nids for instance. if they have scything Talons you would only count the re-rolled 1's? If they roll a 1, and reroll it with scything talons and then roll another 1, that'd work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/222370-gabriel-seth-and-ferocious-instincts/#findComment-2659267 Share on other sites
