Ultramarines Captain Sicarius

Hi everone

 

Though I take a little break & show a WIP (still working on the banner) of Captain Sicarius, commander of the Ultramarine 2nd Company

As said the model just being tide up & will be handed over to my local GW for a specil ch painting comp we got on the go. It during the weekend, however I will be in Nottingham taken part in the 40k double tournament with my Space Wolves, while my friend use his Dark Angels.

 

Overall I really enjoy painting Sicarius, really nice model & I am suprise I not converted him. Those who do not know me or see my project log, then I like to alway convert my models to stand out as it where. My Space Wolves tournament force is highly converted or my Wolf Wing.

 

But overall Sicarius is a very nice model to paint. A lot of cool detail.

 

For painting the model

 

Blue Power Armour

- Regal Blue

- Ultramarine blue highlight

- Ice Blue highlight but a bit fine

 

Red cape

- Mechrite Red

- Blood Red dry brush

- Blazing Orange dry brush

- Mud Wash

- Blazing Orange water done to go onto the rise area of the cape

- Gryphonne Sepia

- Badab Black wash

 

So just got the banner to tide up. Along with any other details I may have miss out, sort of why take a break then I can go back & re-look over the model to see what need to be done to finish him.
