Land Speeder Tornado Heavy Flamer?

Recommended Posts

Hey brothers. I'm trying to get my speeders together for my Templars army. I'm leaning more towards two Tiffys and one Tornado. Unfortunately, the packs I got did not come with any HFs so I will have to purchase one after market. The actual Tornado HFs are ridiculously expensive ($10 for one!). I was wondering how big the IG Sentinel HF is in relation to the speeder. Would it look abnormally huge? I also thought about a Dred CCW undermount flamer, but it looks a bit small. It will be magnetized so I can interchange it with the autocannon if I choose. Thoughts/Suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks guys. Looking closer at the sentinel flamer, I'm wondering if I could attach the promethium tanks to the unfinished side of the flamer? I've never actually held one in my hand, so I have no idea what it might actually look like.

My Speeder boasts a HF taken from the Dreadnought sprue. Cut the wire down in the back a bit and it fits right under the craft's nose quite nicely. As for the issue of the prometheum tanks, I'd just write it off as being carried within the speeder's hull somewhere, another layer of armor keeping it away from snipers who get funny ideas

It looks very nice scale-wise and it was pretty painless to put on for the most part. And if you plan on getting a Dread and not using the flamer, the bit's there for you to use

Yes, you could do that easily, the tanks would cover up most of the "void" on the other side of the flamer, perhaps even adding a thin strip of plasticard as well.

This is exactly what I'm planning too do with my own speeders.
