Schertenleib
Is there a good way to make the plastic models more pliable? I want to take a flat bit and make it a quarter turn. time wizard
Three methods I have used in the past are: Boiling water to soften the plastic, bend to shape, let cool and set. Heat gun, same as water but works a bit faster. Hair dryer set on high, like the heat gun but takes a lot longer. In all 3, be careful not to overheat the plastic or you can lose detail. Best to practice on a few pieces of sprue first to get the technique right, then appy it to the piece you want to bend.
