Stonedog
So I am getting my storm raven put together and all is going fine.....except for the back ramp. According to directions it snaps on and you are not supposed to glue it closed. When I lower the ramp....you guessed it....it pops off. Is there anay to keep that from happening without gluing it closed?
amphoterik
You can use small bits of greenstuff to finish those snaps. That way the door can't pop out.
Ebsolom
I think I'm going to glue mine shut as I'm too lazy to convert a mechanism that works.
vharing
I saw one person on here (cant remember who), used 2 loops made from paperclips to hold the door on.
Stonedog
Hmmmm, good idea....I could do that with pinning rod maybe.....
Tabgoi
You know, I have heard of this thing called a pinning rod, never seen one though no matter how many hobby stores I go to. I have to settle for papperclips, which have yet to let me down.

Tamwulf
After putting two of these things together, I'm convinced that door was an afterthought added after the model was designed. Paperclips FTW!
Captain Stormwing
I'd go green stuff all the way. Very useful for sticking stuff together.
ancient god
The door snaps out if the rod it hangs on is not completely circular. You could take a modeling knife and simple shave it down everywhere until it's nice and round and see if it opens without coming off then. I simply glued mine shut, but not everyone is as lazy as me. ^_^ Captain Stormwing, that font is really hard to read at that size.
