HB66
Hello, Ive been playn 40k for over 15 years and love the fluff of the universe and am constantly reading 2-3 black library books. I am currently reading the Jaq Draco "Inquisitor War" omnibus, with the impending Grey Knights codex coming im really getting interested in an Inquisitor Army. I currently have a Blood Angels army and used to play Space Wolves as well. I am also building a Imperial Guard army, basically i want to have armies for all the imperial forces, for fluff purposes. I really want to do an army with an Inquisitor as the leader......like its his own little "task force" that goes around investigating worlds for demons and such....like a intergalactic Sherlock Holmes/Indiana Jones....if that makes sense. I just wanted to see what current Inquisition players play and what their advice would be for a new Inquisition player....I do have the old Demon Hunters and Witch Hunters Codex.....am more interested in an Inquisitor, not really interested in Sisters of Battle HB66 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223187-new-to-the-inquisition/ Share on other sites
Fredegar Kadere
Your best bet will be to wait for the release of the Grey Knights codex this April. Rumor has it that you will be able to run Inquisitors and their henchman warbands in pretty much any flavor that you can imagine. Combine that with Storm Ravens, Land Raiders, etc and you should have a nifty and unique force. Outside of waiting the month and a half, if you want to be a small private style army then Witch Hunters making use of Space Marine allies sounds like the ticket. I personally ally my Inquisitor with the Guard and run them as platoon hordes. Glory to the Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition!
