Here's a link to Perry Miniatures http://www.perry-miniatures.com/index2.html They have an Age of Wars - Samurai Armies range which includes a selection of weapons like Nagae-yari, Naginata and various Sashimono back banners. Nagae-Yari are spears normally used by commoners rather than Samurai. Naginata are glaives used by Buddhist monks - these can easily be cut down by removing part of the haft and you would have a decent Katana. Hope this helps with your project. Yes i sculpted it out of greenstuff but since then i have found a much better way of making the armour. Will build another guy so you guys can see. @Lestat: thanks for the link, but i dont really like the look of the models so i will probably just sculpt and mould my own stuff.
