RastlinD
My friends and I recently started playing this game and love it but have ran into some questions. First off the most recent official rules can be found on GWs website correct? I ask this because while looking around last night for information on the game I ran into a FAQ for 2010 this did not come from the GW website and looked to be on par with the adeptcon rulings for 40k. However, while we were reading it I found that that it changed many of the rules from the main rule book. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me and tell me if this FAQ is considered official and the rules cannon for BFG. The faq I am talking abouit can easily be found by searching Battlefleet gothic 2010 FAQ. Thanks. mughi3
It's about as official as you can get. it was made by fans with the blessings and imput of the GW design department. the last GW produced FAQ was the 2007 official FAQ most of which rules wise was repeated in the 2010. the 2010 includes alternate ship designs and list builds (especially for tau) and is generally considered a fine improvement to the game. Vaaish
FAQ2010 isn't quite official yet. It's in the final stages before getting sent off to GW who will have the last say before it gets posted. What you have on the GW site is perfectly accurate, the new FAQ will be tweaking some points and filling some holes but the core rules aren't changing.
