Flarack
Greetings my fellow wolf brothers! I've started to log about my wolf pack, the Sons of Hurakan. You can find the blog right here at B&C in the blog section or simply by clicking here. By now, there is only static information in there, like pictures of all the models as well as some fluff about their origin. But in the near future I'll also present some video battle reports of tournaments and maybe some tactics I used. To start right off, this weekends tournament, Cologne Doom 1, will be the first to be logged. You can watch the first part, introducing the strike force, already on youtube. Cologne Doom 1 - Strike Force. Toughts, comments & suggestions always welcome! cu Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223279-sons-of-hurakan/ Share on other sites

Wulfebane
Your blending skills are intense. Is that by hand or did you somehow get a tiny airbrush in there? Thanks to both of you for the comments. I will hand over the given love to Bulldog Iron Priest, who did the excellent airbrush blending on the Sons of Hurakan! cu Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223279-sons-of-hurakan/#findComment-2669893 Share on other sites

Marshal Wilhelm
Wow. They are very crisp. A+ I love your custom characters in the Alpha Circle. They are all fresh and have a nice amount of conversions to them. Tip top. My only suggestion is the bases. I think it is very important to have a strong divergence between mini and base, which I don't think you do with the grey base for the blue-grey wolves. I think snow, sand or grass work best for Wolves. In 40K we don't have to paint our guys 'desert scheme' when they are on desert bases. That allows our unrealistically painted dudes to pop out from their bases. But perhaps you have already considered that? I am sorry my criticism is much longer than my praise. That does not reflect my appreciation of your WD quality work. Yours are great  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223279-sons-of-hurakan/#findComment-2669940 Share on other sites
Sven Dragonfire
Stunning! I have perused that site before but never seen the wolves, maybe before they were put on? Would love to see a full account of how they were painted, colours?, airbrush? tecnique? etc..I saw the "test model" but doesnt explain a great deal. Absolutely beautiful, some of the best wolves I have seen. I will certainly follow your blog. Thanks for sharing. DV8
As the OP graciously credited, BulldogUK is the one responsible for the airbrushing (and to wit I would also assume the rest of the painting) of these models. DV8 He's also done some incredible Grey Knights models for his own army. He graciously allowed me to use pictures of his models in my old Grey Knight Fandex. Very talented bloke! Flarack
Thank you everyone for the comments. I can only agree with you, the models look ace! That's why I did a further youtube showcase video of some of my favorite modelshots. You can find it on my channel: Sons of Hurakan YouTube Channel For some extra fun, I added a theme song to it; cause they deserve it! Probably, they deserve a better one  cu Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223279-sons-of-hurakan/#findComment-2671232 Share on other sites
