Vindicatus
So, I plan to use a Callidus assassin in an up and coming tourney in town, and there somes to be some question as to the ruling behind her 'jump back' rules. It starts that at the beginning of the assault phase, she can jump back; a number of friends are divided on this. Does that mean in the same turn she's assaulted? Does she have to be locked in close combat first for a turn before being allowed to jump back? I haven't been able to find much in the way of clarification on this, so any help on 'deciphering' the rules would be helpful. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/223329-jump-back-and-the-callidus-assassin/ Share on other sites
ShinyRhino
She has to be locked for one turn before she can jump back. At the beginning of the assault phase in which she's unengaged, she's not in a close combat to jump back from.
