DavidKits Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 was just thinking the same as magicman. but either way the model looks amazing, though the work on the backpack and head piece must have been almost insanity inducing. though i know the body is a dark angels one if i look at it right i am wondering how did you get the cloth the way you did. and what is that mace from? Taking some advice from (believe it or not) 4Chan I changed the base, did a little free hand on the robes (not too good at it) and got rid on the "pink eye". Then layering up from a darkened Bleached Bone through pure Skull White. Finally a light wash of Sepia again. Not sure where the mace came from, found it in a bits box I got. I'm not too thrilled on the free-hand on the cloak, its too difficult to see, as the white's nearly the same colour as the cloak. The base was an improvement though. Ion Raptor Posted February 27, 2011 Author Share Posted February 27, 2011 Funny story about my hand: I got in a fight with two pitbulls and a poodle, took them out with ease but it was all the time the bear needed to sneak up on me. He managed to nip my hand before I tore out his heart with my bare hands. And there were monster trucks too.....blowing up.....to the sounds of Kenny G playing the sax...... *ahem* I had some surgery to get rid of some warts, some were pretty deep.
