Just finished the last model in my army, Arjac Rockfist. Now finally have a complete 2000+ pt army fully painted. Hope you guys enjoy. The picture quality is poor, hence some glare/gloss on the armor which isn't really there. If you have any advice on painting faces please let me know.

I tell you we all used the same pieces. LOL You, Me, guys on-line, and my firends in Canada too. We all used the same hammer same legs and Torso. GO figure.

I saw a cool one with WHFB Dwarf bits too. Like the hammer and anvil on top. I think it's a nice touch to truly make it Arjac. Otherwise it's just a terminator with TH/SS.

Congratulations! you should post a pic of your entire army now that its complete! so what's next for you and your army? or the future of your wolf army? new models? mech? as for your Arjac model, nicely done! its a beautiful piece, no matter what other people have to say or not contribute in your thread, its table-top quality work! you should be proud and you deserve an ale/beer or two!!! happy hunting, and I hope your wolves do you justice in the battle-field.

I agree with Muller on this one he looks very plain to be " the Champian of Logan". Plus Arjac is from the lower penisula area on Fenris a part that is known for darker colored skins people that hunt the sea krakens. Maybe a little darker complextion. The hammer I think is what makes it "plain" (plus you'd need to detach the cable other wise Foehammer would get to far thrown you see what I mean). But the head you've choosen is a nice "forge working style" face with split beard just add markings scars he's a veteran and rightly so needs to stand out.

I have yet to expand my modeling into the realm of green stuff, so when I revisit Arjac (i.e. paint a new one) I will definitely add some anvil specific tokens. The model is a bit busy already with what GW threw on these models, so I just left him be. So far he's been the hero of many battles and I like the idea of using the same model for years. (one that comes to mind is when he single handedly killed two units of 3 killa kans, securing the center of the board and winning me the game)

My army is below, record is 31-3-12 against mostly veteran opponents so I'm happy with what I've got going!

Thunderwolf Lord, FB, SS, Bear

2 x TWC, 2 x SS, TH

Rune Priest, Chooser

8 x Grey Hunters, MoTW, Standard, meltagun

Wolf Guard, PF, combi-melta

Rhino

Arjac

10 x Grey Hunters, PW, MoTW, Standard, meltagun, flamer

Land Raider Redeemer, multi-melta

9 x Grey Hunters, PW, MoTW, Standard, meltagun

Rhino

5 x Grey Hunters, meltagun

Wolf Guard, PF, combi-melta

Arjac's Thunderhammer has a magnetic power connection system (like an Apple laptop) and a high-amp capacitor in the handle. When the Hammer is in his hand, the cables provide a steady stream of power from the Terminator Armour's onboard systems keeping the capacitor fully charged and ready for a sudden burst of energy upon striking the enemy. When thrown, the magnetic connection simply detaches, and the capacitor has enough energy stored for the single impact into the enemy, as well as the auto-teleport back to Arjac's gauntlet, where the magnetic link to power is automatically restored. There is no need at all to detach the cable.

Good job!

i like this painting.

One simple question. How did you decorate his base?

The base is the easy part, and it's kind of a tribute to the grey-blue SW armor (I prefer the true grey myself). I base it in Fenris Grey, and then overbrush SW Grey, followed by a final overbrush of Skull White. I use a sand/gravel mixture that I think comes in the GW painting sets but you can get it anywhere, including the street.

Where did the big shield come from? That's cool.

I took one of the SW term shields and converted it with GS and one of those wolf skull plaques.

Really? I can't find any to put on my tanks, and here you are putting them on storm shields? Really?

Well it looks awesome. I like it.
